Engagement Disclosures

As a Registered BAS Agent, our services are provided in accordance with the Tax Agent Services Act 2009 (TASA). Under this Act, the Tax Agent Services (Code of Professional Conduct) Determination 2024 requires that we disclose the following information to you before you engage or re-engage our services:

Matters that could influence your decision to engage us

We confirm that, to the best of our knowledge and based on all information available to us:

  • We have not committed any prior material breaches of the TASA or instruments made under the Act;

  • We are not the subject of any current or former investigations by the Tax Practitioners Board (TPB);

  • We are not subject to any sanctions imposed by the TPB;

  • There are no conditions applying to our registration;

  • We have not been disqualified from providing BAS Agent services;

  • We do not engage with, or employ, any individuals who have been disqualified from providing such services;

  • We have not been charged with or convicted of any offences involving fraud or dishonesty;

  • We have not had a promoter penalty imposed under tax law; and

  • We have not been charged with or convicted of a tax offence.

We are not aware of any matters that have not otherwise been disclosed to you that may significantly influence your decision to engage or continue to engage our services. Should you have any questions or concerns about the above, please contact us directly to discuss.

BAS Agent Register

The TPB maintains a public register of all registered, suspended, and deregistered tax and BAS agents. You can view our registration and confirm our status at the following link: https://www.tpb.gov.au/public-register.

Complaints Process

We are committed to providing high quality service. If you have any concerns or complaints, we encourage you to raise them with us first so that we can address them promptly and professionally.

If you have a complaint, please contact Erica Avenell via email. We will:

  • Acknowledge your complaint in writing;

  • Provide you with a summary of the issue as we understand it;

  • Outline our resolution process; and

  • Aim to resolve the matter within 14 days.

If you remain dissatisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Tax Practitioners Board using the link listed above. The Board's complaints process, including an online form, is available on the Tax Practitioners Board website.
